For 30 years, Rajni Chauhan struggled with migraines, visiting numerous doctors and clinics, but the problem persisted. The constant fear of migraines forced her to take painkillers three times a day. Despite spending ₹25-30 lakh on treatment, she found no relief, and her condition worsened.

Rajni shares, “When the headache starts, it feels like banging my head against the wall. I know painkillers are harmful, but enduring the pain is unbearable.”

After a long struggle, Rajni learned about the Padav Centre and Padma Shri Acharya Balendu Prakash’s Ayurvedic treatment through a newspaper. At the centre, she not only took medications but also followed a strict diet plan. During treatment, drinking tea and daytime sleeping were prohibited. She had to eat light meals every two hours. These changes brought significant relief.

Rajni recalls, “After the treatment, all my problems disappeared. But due to negligence and not following the diet plan, the migraines returned.”

She admits that if she had taken care of her diet and daily habits, the migraines wouldn’t have resurfaced. Her negligence included skipping breakfast and resorting to painkillers at the slightest sign of a headache.

In August 2024, during the Harela festival, she forgot to take her post-breakfast medication and ventured out in the scorching heat. This triggered an excruciating headache, leaving her completely exhausted.

Rajni’s illness has also taken a toll on her family. She says, “Whenever I have a headache, the entire household becomes tense. Now, I am determined to take my health seriously and have decided to return to the Padav Centre for further treatment.”
