This story narrates the journey of Robin Singh, a healthy, 30-year-old businessman and gym-goer, who was suddenly plunged into a harrowing five-month battle against severe pancreatic failure, a condition that tested the limits of medical intervention and personal endurance.
It begins on August 17, 2023, when Robin, working at his Kurukshetra showroom, experienced a sudden, excruciating abdominal pain that he later described as worse than being shot twice. Initially misdiagnosed due to overlapping symptoms, testing revealed Acute Pancreatitis. Over the next few weeks, his condition worsened drastically.
The situation escalated when initial hospital tests led to a terrifying false diagnosis of pancreatic cancer—a period that filled Robin with intense fear, believing his life was over. Upon transfer to a major government institution, the correct diagnosis of Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis with collections was made. Despite this clarity, conventional treatment offered little hope.
Multiple hospitalizations, failed procedures (including several unsuccessful stent attempts and endoscopies), and continuous fever consumed Robin. He spent 40-45 days in the ICU, was kept NPO for extended periods, and required drainage tubes, a feeding tube, and central lines. His weight plummeted from 108 kg to a critical 64.6 kg, leaving him unable to walk to the toilet without assistance. After spending over ₹10 Lakhs, and being told by doctors that his pancreas was “gone” and he would rely on enzymes forever, he lost all hope.
The family turned to Padaav in Rudrapur as their last resort. Despite initial doubt about Ayurvedic treatment, Robin trusted the testimonies of two people he knew. Upon arrival on December 19, 2023, his immediate change in care was dramatic: all expensive enzymes and एलोपैथी (Allopathy) drugs were stopped.
At Padaav, Robin found not just a new treatment (the patent-holding ‘Amar’ capsule) but a complete overhaul of his system. Within the first 3-4 days, his vomiting stopped, he felt energy return, and his fear began to subside. He gained 4 kg in 21 days and could walk without assistance. Reflecting on his journey, Robin emphasizes the immense difference between the sterile, overcrowded, and expensive environment of the conventional hospital and the hygienic, holistic, and hopeful care provided by Padaav.
His message is clear: when conventional options fail, don’t waste time or money. Trust the specialized Ayurvedic path, because if his body—riddled with tubes and near death—could recover, those with less severe conditions can achieve 100% recovery.
