In 2018, 8-year-old Sanskriti was a big fan of fast food. The crispy, fried, and spicy food was irresistible to her, but little did her family know that these eating habits were leading to a serious health issue. Mayank Singh Gaur, Sanskriti’s father, recalls that when Sanskriti first experienced a severe attack of pancreatitis, they initially thought it was just acidity due to outside food, so they gave her some home remedies. However, when the pain didn’t subside, they took her to a private hospital where the diagnosis revealed that she had pancreatitis, a condition they were unfamiliar with.
Even after the hospital treatment, Sanskriti’s pain persisted & the symptoms returned. Concerned, Mayank decided to get additional tests done at a pathology lab, and when they compared the results with the hospital reports, they realized that the condition was more serious than they had thought. It was then that Mayank learned about the Ayurvedic center called Padaav, where pancreatitis could be treated. Initially skeptical about Ayurveda, especially because of the common misconception that Ayurvedic treatment takes a long time to show results, Mayank took Sanskriti to Padaav.
At Padaav, they met Vaidya Shikha Prakash, whose compassionate approach changed everything. Mayank shares that Sanskriti, who was initially reluctant to stay, felt at ease under Vaidya Shikha’s care. Over the course of treatment, Sanskriti’s health showed remarkable improvement from the very first day. Mayank says, “I realized that Ayurveda works faster than I had imagined, and the holistic approach, including diet and lifestyle changes, played a crucial role in her recovery.”
After 20 days, Sanskriti’s health was completely restored, and follow-up tests confirmed the positive results. Mayank emphasizes that Padaav not only helped heal his daughter but also provided them with invaluable support, including continuous guidance from Vaidya Shikha, who remained in contact with them even after the treatment was completed.
Today, both Mayank and Sanskriti are grateful for the care they received at Padaav. Mayank adds, “The entire experience was life-changing. We now follow a healthy routine, and Sanskriti is back to her childhood, free from the pain she once endured.” He credits Padaav and Vaidya Shikha for giving his daughter a new lease on life.
